Delete your account

You can delete your Piano lume account at any time. It only takes a moment, and you don’t need the app installed to do it.

On the website

  1. Sign in at pianolume.app.
  2. Open Profile and scroll to the bottom.
  3. Choose “Delete my account” and confirm.

In the Android or iPhone app

  1. Open the Profile tab.
  2. Scroll to the bottom and tap “Delete account”, then confirm.

Can’t sign in?

Use the Send feedback button at the bottom of any page and tell us the email address on your account. We’ll confirm the request and delete the account.

What gets deleted

  • Your account: name, email address, password and sign-in links (Google or Apple).
  • Your progress: lessons, songs, stars, XP, streaks, achievements and settings, including your results for My Music pieces.
  • My Music pieces saved on the device you delete your account from. Pieces are kept only on your devices, never on our servers, so on your other devices delete them in My Music or clear that browser or app.

This happens straight away and can’t be undone. Usage stats aren’t linked to your account and are deleted after about 13 months. Feedback you sent stays with us but is no longer linked to you. Stripe keeps payment records as the law requires.

Premium

Deleting your account cancels Premium bought on the website. Premium bought in the app is billed by Google Play or the App Store, so cancel it in your Google Play or App Store subscriptions too, or you may still be charged.
